Passing by roadkill is something that is not often dwelled on. This piece brings attention to the death of a deer, a common animal found dead on roadsides. Death is sad, though seeing a dead animal on the side of the road typically is not something that is thought about outside of a short moment. The use of real dirt around the image mimics the action of going around a dead animal on the road, and sheds light on human behavior when confronted with death each day.
